The journey began with Alvaro (Al), our founder, who spent over 20 years honing his craft as a contractor, bringing his vision to life in homes across Florida. There, amidst the sunshine and palm trees, he met Monica, his wife and partner in life (and sometimes, in business!). In 2010, a yearning for family drew Al and Monica to Austin, Texas. Here, closer to loved ones, Al decided to take a leap of faith and embark on a new chapter as a business owner. He started by offering home remodeling and corporate renovation services, his reputation for quality and expertise preceding him.
As the years passed, the business flourished. It was only a short time before Al and Monica’s nephew, Jonathan, joined the family business, eager to contribute his skills and hone his craft. Together, they tackled projects big and small, their commitment to exceptional service solidifying their place in the Austin remodeling scene. This is when CTIS Remodeling, as you know it today, was born.
The Unexpected Boom
Then came the pandemic. The world ground to a halt, and people found themselves spending an unprecedented amount of time within the confines of their homes. Once overlooked spaces transformed into classrooms, offices, and home gyms. As families adjusted to this “new normal,” the desire to create comfortable and functional living environments surged. This unexpected turn of events led to a boom in the remodeling industry, and CTIS Remodeling was proud to be a part of it.
